Overview
The JPX-Nikkei Index Human Capital 100 is composed of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 constituent stocks. Constituents shall be selected by the Index Provider factoring in their extent of engagement with human-capital-conscious management. The index was jointly developed by Nikkei and JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc.

Selection rules
- 100 stocks are selected by the Comprehensive Human Capital Score ranking that considers Extra points for three items: the ratio of female managers, the growth rate of the average annual salary of employees, and growth rate of operating profit per employee, to the Human Capital Score.
- In case of delisting of the components due to a merger or bankruptcy etc, new stocks shall not be added in principle.

Calculation Method
- The index is calculated based on market capitalization adjusted by FFW (Free Float Weight) and the index is calculated by dividing the current total free float adjusted market value by "base market value".
- Contituent weights are partially adjusted by Ranking Factor based on the Comprehensive Human Capital Score ranking that considers Extra points to the Human Capital Score.
- In case where the cap maximum of the components exceed 10% at the Annual Review, the each weight to the total market value of the index shall be adjusted within 10% at the end of June, the selection base date of the Annual Review.
