Selection rules
- The top 30 stocks by market capitalization as of the base date (end of October) are selected from among stocks whose main business is classified as the semiconductor-related industry in the NEEDS industrial Classification.
- Stocks whose non core businesses is classified as the semiconductor-related industry are also eligible taking into account their market capitalizations if their semiconductor related revenues account for 10% or more of the total sales revenue and they have a high market share of semiconductor related products.

Calculation Method
- The index is calculated by summing up the constituent share prices multiplied by the Weight Factors, and dividing the summation by the Divisor.
- The Weight Factor shall be the number of issued common shares on the Base Date of the Periodic Review.
