- The top 10 stocks by market capitalization as of the base date (end of October) are selected from among stocks classified as Banks under the Nikkei Industrial Classification (middle classification).

- The index is calculated by summing up the constituent share prices multiplied by the Weight Factors, and dividing the summation by the Divisor.
